Statement from the USA Powerlifting National Office:
USA Powerlifting’s National Office confirms that American Records can be set at the Olympia, provided all competition and eligibility requirements are satisfied under USA Powerlifting rules.
All competitions are sanctioned by USA Powerlifting and conducted under the current USA Powerlifting Rulebook.
All lifters are subject to USA Powerlifting drug testing policies.
Weigh-ins: 2-hour weigh-ins the day of competition (no 24-hour weigh-ins).
Raw and Equipped divisions are permitted in all competitions.
Qualifying meets must be achieved between January 1, 2025 and registration close.
Introducing the Mr. & Ms. Powerlifting Olympia
For the first time in USA Powerlifting Olympia history, two athletes will earn the Olympia's highest overall distinction:
Mr. Powerlifting Olympia
Awarded to the male athlete who achieves the highest raw DOTS score in any full power competition contested during Olympia Weekend.
Ms. Powerlifting Olympia
Awarded to the female athlete who achieves the highest raw DOTS score in any full power competition contested during Olympia Weekend.
Eligibility
All athletes competing in the following full power competitions are automatically eligible:
- Olympia Open Championship
- Youth Championship
- Teen Championship
- Junior Championship
- Masters Championship
- Prime Time Championship
No additional registration or entry is required.
Award Presentation
The inaugural Mr. Powerlifting Olympia and Mrs. Powerlifting Olympia will be crowned at the conclusion of competition on Saturday, September 26.
These titles recognize the top overall raw male and female performances of the entire Olympia Weekend, regardless of division, honoring the athletes who deliver the highest level of performance on the Olympia stage.

Olympia Open
Friday, September 25
Session 1
Equipment Check: 5:45AM
Registration: 5:45AM
Weigh Ins: 6:00AM
Lifting Starts: 8:00AM
Awards: 4:45PM
*Session 1 and Session 2 awards will be awarded at the end of Session 2.
*Lifters in the Olympia Open are eligable for the Mr. and Ms. Powerlifting Olympia Title. The Mr. and Ms. Powerlifting Olympia will not be presented till the end of the competition on day 2.
Scoring & Awards:
Awards are determined by DOTS within each sex, equipment type, and primary age category, rather than by individual weight class.
Teen 1, Teen 2, and Teen 3 will be combined into a single Teen category. Masters 1 through Masters 5 will be combined into a single Masters category.
Raw Open Awards:
Due to the size of the Raw Open field, Men's and Women's Raw Open lifters will be divided into Lightweight, Middleweight, and Heavyweight award groups. First, second, and third place will be awarded by DOTS within each group.
Men's Raw Open
- Lightweight: 60–82.5 kg
- Middleweight: 90–100 kg
- Heavyweight: 110 kg and above
Women's Raw Open
- Lightweight: 52–56 kg
- Middleweight: 60–70 kg
- Heavyweight: 75 kg and above
All other divisions will award 1st–3rd place by DOTS within their respective sex, equipment type, and combined age category. If fewer than three athletes compete in a category, awards will be limited to the number of eligible competitors.
Bench Championship
