​Weight Class Changes
Weight class changes must be submitted by the deadline of March 10th.
Qualifying Methods:
Athletes must reach a qualifying total for their weight class as listed on the event page. This total must be reached at one of the following:

Any USA Powerlifting sanctioned meet

Any state level High School meet.

Q: Will my total at WHSPA State meet count as a qualifying total?
A: Yes, any state-level meet sanctioned by a high school program is accepted as a qualifying total.
Q: Will a local WHSPA meet count as a qualifying total?
A: No, only totals from state-level meets will be accepted if they are not sanctioned by USA Powerlifting.
Q: Will a local USA Powerlifting meet count as a qualifying total?
A: Yes, we accept qualifying totals from any USA Powerlifting-sanctioned meet.
Q: My state's high school meet does not allow JV athletes to compete at the State level meet. How can I qualify?
A: If JV athletes are not allowed at your state's high school State meet, you will need to compete in any USA Powerlifting-sanctioned meet to achieve your JV qualifying total.
Q: What is the exact deadline to register for this meet?
A: The registration deadline is March 10th. However, it is strongly recommended to register as early as possible to secure your spot on the roster.
Q: If i register before reaching my QT, what is the deadline for my QT?
A: The registration deadline is March 10th, you can register prior to reaching your QT but your QT needs to be reached by the registration deadline.
To be clear, all QTs must be reached by March 10th.
